Thotlavalluru is a mandal headquarter located in Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh. Thotlavalluru is also called as Valluru and it is situated on the Banks of Krishna river. It is 25 KM from Vijayawada.
Thotlavalluru Mandal has boundaries with Vuyyuru Mandal towards west, Kollipara Mandal towards South, Kankipadu Mandal towards North, Pamidimukkala Mandal towards East. Machalipatnam, Gudivada, Eluru, and Tenali are nearby Cities to Thotlavalluru.
Thotlavalluru village had lot of Orchards and Guardians and situated on the banks of Krishna River with many Islands in the river bed, it is always green.
Agriculture has been the primary occupation of the people of the village, blessed with rich and fertile soil along with abundant water from the river Krishna, the agricultural production has increased tremendously over the years. Paddy, Sugarcane, Turmeric, Betel Leaves, Bananas, Chilli, and other cash crops are grown in the village.
Thotlavalluru Mandal consist of 33 Villages and 16 Panchayats. Madhurapuram is the smallest Village in the mandal and South Valluru is the biggest. Thotlavalluru was a Jamindari Village ruled by Bommadevara Nagammanaidu and other Rulers.
The temples of Venugopala Swami and the Sivalayam are one of the ancient heritage structures located in the village, Venugopala Swamy temple was built by Jamindar of the village, Sivalayam built by Sivalenka family.

A number of programs in consultation with the elected representative of the District and Local Administration will be listed as priority items to meet the requirements of the villagers and also enhance the infrastructure facilities to make it a smart village.
